sleepytom
I'm designing some projector rigging systems at the moment and I'd really like to use a similar attachment system to make it quick and simple to attach the half couplers. Does anyone have any information about how the size and shape of the hole in the mac that the brackets attach to? I'm getting aluminum plates CNC'd / laser cut so it should be no problem to design the correct shaped hole to receive the 1/4 turn attachment thing, but I've not been able to find any info about the exact dimensions needed. Any info would be much appreciated. thanks.
johnhuson
Not specifically the Martin ones but you might want to take a look at Camloc Fasteners for something very similar. It's worth noting that what the Martin clamps connect into isn't just a hole, the other half of the fixing is inside the unit behind the hole. sleepytom
yes I see that now, although there seem to be a range of receptacles which could be used with my design. I don't suppose you happen to know what size / make the martin ones are? I'd like to maintain compatibility with the mac fittings as they are so standard.
