Stutwo
Martin, I get: " Unfortunately, we could not find any suitable results that match your search criteria " When I put those terms in your search box :D
cvcad
English Braids sent me a nice little sample pack the other day, so I'll pass the website address on. Never used them, and have no interest beyond informing the OP. I buy all my rope/chord from English Braids - good stuff.

Seano
Try www.a1ropes.co.uk This is what they specialse in. Never heard of them. That's a seriously minimalist website, what do they mean by 'rigging industry'? Do they carry solid braid derby rope?

Seano
Is solid braid derby rope easy to come by in the UK? The American stuff - not particularly. As far as I can make out most of what comes in is unofficially imported in the flightcases of touring riggers. ;)The stuff Simon gets made up (see above) is very similar but not quite identical - its a little firmer, doesn't fluff up quite so nicely, but does seem to be a bit harder wearing.I'm not sure which UK Rigging have a stock of - possibly a bit of both. Ian H
On a recent European tour I was constantly being asked who had supplied our ropes for the imag screens. (normally by the Riggers) the answer was http://www.atlantarigging.com/contacts.html We were using 5/8” rigging rope and 3/8” Durastron (very strong and extremely low stretch) Now all you need is somebody who travels quite a lot Ian
