Remove the top cover of the head by releasing the quarter turn screws. This should give you access to the main effects module. Remove this module, make sure you make a not of where everything is plugged in. Once this module is removed you should have access to the screws that hold the fan module in. The fan is attached to the opposite cover on ours.

 

Remove the first side by removing the quarter turn screws. then in the middle of each side (above and below the tilt pivot) there are 2 screws take them out, then remove the bottom 2 of the external screws, the top one is just the lens!! Then obviously you will have to remove the arm covers to get the loom out.
