Lense Positions in profiel lanterns

Recommended Posts

We have just had a few extra lantterns donated to us. They are preludes 16/30's, cantata 26/44 and silhouttes 30's. They have the lenses in differently to ours and its started a bit of a arguement about what's the right way round.

Do the 2 lenses need to have the curved sides facing forwards as in ) ) ?

Or do they need to face each other )( ?

And do the different lanterns have a different lense positions to the others??

Please help!!!

Dear Sid,

I was in the same situation a little while ago.

A very helpful man at CCT sent me a Silhouette 30 diagram. The curved sides of the lenses face each other in this spot.

Keep up the good work recycling older equipment.

Alan.
