Griven Kolorado MK-II Lamp off after 1h

Hi all,

our MK II extinguishes it´s lamp one hour after ignition

 

has anyone any suggestions on that ?

Don't know the fixtures at all but quite often if the lamp is extinguishing that period after striking it's probably a heat issue. Check all the cooling fans (if there are any?) are working. If they are then it could be a faulty heat sensor.

 

As I say don't know the fixtures at all but that would be the first thing I would check.

Hi ,

I found out that the material of lamp reflector is bad - so the heat of lamp melted it - behind this reflector is a heat shild with a bimetall switch it switched the unit off when it run´s hot ... the reflector will be replaced .
