You quite sure Mr Neuf? '76 sizzled (Minister for Drought etc), and my O levels were in '77, but I don't recollect it being that hot.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> 76 was definitely the sizzling summer - I did my o levels perched on the very edge of my seat with minimum buttock-seat contact due to extreme foolishness - several hours revising in the garden in my swimming trunks combined with pale skin (that pre-requisite of a technician?) leading to embarassing case of sunburn on legs and torso.
