Altman Lekos

Now, my optics are a touch shakey, so bear with me, but:

 

We've got a show in with a load of dance booms, so the old stock of Lekos has been brought back in to service. Almost all of them (but not entirely) have their lenses fitted so that the flat side of the Plano-convex lens is out. But my Strand SLs have the curved side at the front, which is confusing me. So my question is:

 

Does anyone know which way round the lens in an Altman Leko should be?

This reply is far too late to be of any use for your show, but just in case - the front lens should have the flat side at the front. The other lens should have the curved side to the front (i.e. they have the curved sides facing each other).
