christof
Hi, im doing a show that has part of Avenue Q in and was wondering if anyone knew if the avenue Q puppets had been made by anyone to hire? If not any ideas about making them on a realativly small budget thanks
gareth
The besst route would probably be to ask the company who hold the rights for the show, and from whom you'll have to obtain a licence to perform it - if there are any suitable puppets available to hire, I'd imagine they'll know about them. w/robe
I would be very suprised if there are any puppets available. Do remember that both the show and the designs for the puppets are someones property. If you use them without permission you are stealing them. boatman
As others have said, you'll need to obtain performance rights. Assuming you have done that, you'll get lots of help with making puppets from here.
Just Some Bloke
From the Avenue Q website FAQs: Q - Will you be able to purchase puppets as merchandise items?A - The puppets that appear on stage are not available as merchandise items due to the high cost of making them. At present smaller versions are not on sale but this is something that might be considered in the future.
