Gabz
Hi, as Production Manager for a Church in Leeds I have been looking into making a rear projection screen. I was wondering if the knowledge of the Blue-Room members could help me as I'm unsure of what is the best type of material to use and where to source it from. The size I'm after is to make a 4:3 ratio screen sized (approx) 3.5m by 2.6m. Cheers in advance for any help.
soundo26
Google Rosco, they supply gels & gobos but they also supply rear projection material off the roll.

Pete McCrea
Have you considered buying a Fastfold type screen of the correct, or closet size and using that. If it's being built into something, then buying the next size up and creating the aperture with the set is one way to go. That said as the others have mentioned there are people out there that can make custom sized screens. it's probably worth getting eyelets put in to allow you to tension it properly.
