Noise Boy Sam
The rope we use on the curtains to open/close them is wearing through too quickly so blatantly to wrong stuff. So does any one know what sort of rope we should use and where to get it from? The rope needs to be about 8mmØAnd at least 100ft long Any help? Andrew C
We're going to need more info before we can give accurate advice. Hand line, motor, or hand crank? Type of track? Size of tabs (rough)? Is all well with the pulleys? Has one failed? Does the rope rub on the side plates (too large a fleet angle)? Anything else rubbing?
boatman
We replaced ours last year, just before the summer show, with window sash cord from Reddiseals. We used the cheapest waxed cotton (22p/m) but you may want to go a bit up-market from that.
