Shez
From what everyone's been saying here, it seems to be an inherent fault design feature of that particular system. Your options are therefore either:* Educate the users so that they can use the system within its capabilities; or* Get a different system that has the capabilities that you need I guess there's a third option involving a soldering iron, some resistors and a very steady hand, but I'd only go down that route if you really knew what you were doing... adam_brown87
The only thing I can think is that I have had alot of shure gain pots break on me. But if it is all of your microphones then I cant see that being the problem....I have found that the pots are very fragile on the older models. jhammar
Shure transmitters with sm58 and beta58 capsules tend to have too much gain even in their lowest setting, especially the B58.I've noticed this on all ranges of shure WL mics. Here's a link to shures website with a mod for the U2 transmitter if you search in their support forum you'll probably find mods for other models too. Good luck J Hammar
digisound
Thanks for the replies and I shall look into possibly converting a few and using them specifically for the stupid LOUD singers. Cheers  Craig
