apatak
Hi all I did trip upon these really great websites. Its good to see lighting company coming up with educational websites  http://www.philips-enlightment.com/elearning/ Moderation: One link removed as it has no relevance to entertainment lighting. gareth
The first link relates to domestic lighting, and as such isn't relevant to the Blue Room. (Edit : which is why the mods have now removed it!) The second one, while biased strongly towards the world of architectural lighting, contains information which may well be useful in an entertainment lighting context, and as such should probably be added to the Blue Room Wiki. (I'm sure there's a "useful lighting web-links" section on there somewhere, but I can't find it at the moment ...)
peternewman
There wasn't but is now; useful links in the lighting FAQ. As ever feel free to submit more.
jakefraser
There is also a very good range of info for new guys on the block in LX on the Selecon website Selecon - Getting Started If you ask them nicely (and by that I mean just e-mail them!) they'll also send out a set of posters ideal for education environments where students are starting to learn the trade.
