Hiya ..I have been lurking around here for a couple of years but finally decided to sign up since we got a mention :-) ..... ( Sam was that a google search that found me ?)

 

Jeex Cloud Writing .... well certainly tonight in scotland you could certainly do some fog writing !! thats for sure !

 

Doing the batman logo is peice of cake with lasers but as for getting the effect on the night .. PHEW ! ... 40 watt yag will certainly get you the best chance of it working but bottom line is its all about atomospheric conditions on the night , make sure you have backup plan on the night for some surface projection somewhere wether you go the cloud or searchlight route

May I suggest the Showgun? (Sorry Mark, SHOWGUN!).

It projects gobos, and I believe there are pics somewhere of it achieving a distinguishable image on clouds. (I think I saw this on the LightNetwork, sorry haven't got time to find the link.)
