ziggyP Posted March 6, 2004 Posted March 6, 2004 The thing is, the HogPC has a pedigree going back through the Hog2, right to the original Hog in the mid-90's. There's also a HUGE user base of Hog2 programmers, and an enormous number of Hog2/Hog1000/Hog500 consoles out there in the real world. This is looking backwards. If you read at the thread on the light network / flying pig forum the future of Highend / Flying Pig is not that settled. None of the original founders are in the company and most of the software crew have left over the last few months. It takes a good insight into a product to produce a successful one -are the those left going to be able to continue the pedigree. From the info I have heard Chamsys is founded by ex Flying Pig System staff. We will be able to judge how good the desk is when it is widely on view (sale ?). Ziggy
gareth Posted March 6, 2004 Posted March 6, 2004 So who is involved in the Chamsys project then? There's quite a lot in the downloadable version on their site which is very reminiscent of Hog2.
