I give up! Lost the thread (or should that be the plot?)

Somewhere on this site I accidently came across a brilliant thread describing impossible stage directions (eg a host of heavenly angels descend...).

I have just spent hours looking for it with every search word I could think of and it has vanished! (I came across all sorts of other interesting stuff in my travels though!)

Can anyone tell me where it is?

Thanks,

Anthea

I recall a poem about stage directions, something along the lines of

Up is Out, Left is Right

Can anybody point me in its direction, or did I dream about it?

In is down, down is front

Out is up, up is back

Off is out, on is in

And of course-

Left is right and right is left

A drop shouldn't and a

Block and fall does neither

A prop doesn't and

A cove has no water

Tripping is OK

A running crew rarely gets anywhere

A purchase line buys you nothing

A trap will not catch anything

A gridiron has nothing to do with football

Strike is work (In fact a lot of work)

And a green room, thank god, usually isn't

Now that you're fully versed in Theatrical terms,

Break a leg.

Copied from Tony's Website http://www.abbeytheatre.co.uk/

But his domain registration isn't transparent to his hosting so the actual page is http://www.btinternet.com/~abbey.theatre/theatre_fun.htm

It was me, I think, here.

Thanks for the reply, but still not the one I was looking for! There are obviously lots of these around! This one was mainly about Director's requirements for people in funny places eg angels descending from Heaven, etc... Perhaps I dreamed it in a panic?

But not really
