Pete McCrea
The cheaper Baluns literally act as a 'Bodge Block', with no line driving and EQ. Expect reasonable results, but not miracles. If you need a good quality system (i.e. EQ'd and properly Line Driven), then expect to pay £100+ for the ends. With the Units from Extron I have run Composite Video over CAT5 for 400m. toytown
Used the CPC ones and the kramer ones. The Kramer system is brilliant no problem on picture signal on long runs also will send audio aswell. Some times I have had issues with the CPC ones getting a dirty signal and have had to add buzz boxes to these too. On the whole though with the CPC ones costing 1/20th of the cost ofthe kramers try them 1st
