I am trying to refurbish some old gear for a friend's studio, and in some cases I have found the manufacturers have either ceased to exist, or no longer support the product in any way, so I am just after close matches. minty Posted July 18, 2007 Author Share Posted July 18, 2007 Many thanks, Mainly it's for some valve pres/ compressor stages made with a logo that looks to read KLN Audio, and a large not quite rack mount (yet...) parametric which looks distinctly home made that has R Hughes printed on the back, although if this unit is home made, that could well be the name of the company who made the project box / case! They are both a little odd, my original suggestion was to not bother too much with them, but they do both have a lovely sound, the eq is very warm and yet still very fine, so here I am on my week off trying to fade spares to make them look the part!
