Andy!
Is it called UV tape that you put down so that it glows in blackouts. or is it somthing else. And do you need a UV light for the tape to work or does it just absorb any lights ie PARS. And how much is the tape roughly??
dominicgross
It's not UV tape, its either 'Glo' 'Lumi' or 'airport' tape. It works like a watch hand and has to 'charge' from other light sources. It ain't cheep: LX Store are doing it for £2 per meter at the moment which isn't all that far off. David
You can buy glow in the dark stickers from W H Smith. Just as good as tape
gil-galad
The technical name for the tape is Phosphorescent tape. You can buy it from Le Mark or any other theatrical store. If you are looking for a more permanent solution e.g around fire exit doors in my old theatre (many moons ago) then rosco do a paint that works the same way. Yes it is all expensive but compared to a law suit from an actor?

Blame Jono
You can by glow in the dark paint as well, which you can just paint on to masking tape and you get the same effect. Much cheaper.
