benweblight Posted January 15, 2004 Posted January 15, 2004 would be safe to put a 'robotics' effect on a lighting bar? (obviously a sfe distance from lights)
Bryson Posted January 15, 2004 Posted January 15, 2004 (For those who don't know - a "Robotics" is a pyro that simulates an electrical fault) Anyway: That would depend on all sorts of things. What would the bar be over? What else is on the bar? At what height? I'm sure the pyro experts will be able to offer advice if you let us know w few more details. And finally: You have to be 18 years old to use pyros. Moderation - split from "old amp" thread
Jambo_UK Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 Is there any sites that have vid clips of this effect in action? or any other type of pyro effect? from Jambo
gareth Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 I think the LeMaitre website has small video clips of their products in action.
Jambo_UK Posted February 19, 2004 Posted February 19, 2004 Thanks for the link Gareth, the videos of the effect were great. but the effect was not what I thought it would be, Is there a effect that basically looks like a blue lighting bolt conduction around a metal bar and lasts for about 5 or six seconds, or is this effect only achievable in TV land with the Special Effects department. from Jambo
RJS Posted February 19, 2004 Posted February 19, 2004 I believe and I may be wrong but that is a custom effect, that is only really used by TV.
Jambo_UK Posted February 19, 2004 Posted February 19, 2004 I thought so I will stick with my smoke and lasers to create it, ** laughs out loud ** Thanks everyone. from Jambo
