MatSpencer
Hey Guys! I have a show coming up at the Symphony Hall in June, A few issues have come up: 1. Dedicated open-white permanent lighting rig Does this mean that only lighting that is rigged is white...no Colour? - 2.No extra lights are to be hung from the canopy, but can be rigged in other areas.Where are theses areas? Are they suitable for some movers? - 3.Will the In-House technicians Op. movers if you hire them in? Im sure I have some other things I need to know but my mind is going through a blank stage at the moment (worrying for my age) Thanks In AdvanceMat

MatSpencer
Surley contacting THEM is the best option?!! Well to be honest I tried looking for a suitable email address on the website, and nothing seems to go to a "Technical Director" and I know if I send it to anyone else it will just get seen as "technician Rubbish" and discarded *shrugs*
Just Some Bloke
1. Dedicated open-white permanent lighting rig Does this mean that only lighting that is rigged is white...no Colour? That's for orchestra lighting. See here. 2.No extra lights are to be hung from the canopy, but can be rigged in other areas.Where are theses areas? Are they suitable for some movers? The canopy is a top light position, side light, backlight and FOH positions are available. 3.Will the In-House technicians Op. movers if you hire them in?The in-house technicians will show you how to use their desk, but they don't earn quite as much as programmers. Their Technical Manager will be happy to help.Tell him I sent you! (Won't make any difference, though, he's very helpful to everyone) :(
MatSpencer
Great, Thanks. Do you have any contact details? If so could you PM me? The in-house technicians will show you how to use their desk, but they don't earn quite as much as programmers. Do we need to find someone to Op. the desk for our performance then? Thanks AgainMat
