mrbeige
Anyone know where I can get one please? Looked at making something with bits from overstage.co.uk but I don't want to cause death by falling speaker.
StevieR
According to the Mackie site, all rigging on the box is achieved using M10 eye bolts with a 20mm shank. You can get the bolts from any Mackie dealer or use an equivalent. What you attach to them is then up to you with the obvious qualification that all components should be appropriately rated for the load and suitable for the type of suspension you are planning. mrbeige
Thanks for the reply Steve but it is the rear bolt that is a none standard fitment and is required to tilt the speaker forwards. Theres a couple of people selling the components in the US but nothing here on the web. Do you know if the eyebolts have to be a certain type/material? paulears
These people have the rigging kits - admitedly US based - but at least one supplier As the rear M10 point is for pullback - I'd have thought it a fairly simple matter to get a local fabricator to be able to knock you something up. As it isn't designed for supporting a load, it may be worth seeing if you can get a M10 turnbuckle in a tested style - fair enough you'd throw half away, but might be a quicker solution - as the eye bolt element would be long enough? mrbeige
Dropped Allen products a couple of emails but no response. Obviously not keen to ship to the UK...or sell to an individual. Thanks anyway
