Bryson
Excuse my poor lampie brain on this one.... We have an AKG D3500 Mic which we have been using as a kick drum mic ( <_< I know..) for the last 8 years or so. Just recently it has started sounding pretty terrible - basically there's no bottom end to the sound at all - sounds a bit like a cheap transistor radio. The Bass roll-off switch seems to be working ok - it sounds different, but equally crap in both positions. So, my question is; Have we killed it forever or is it something I can fix? PS: I've bought a D112 as a replacement anyway, but the sound guy still wanted to use it for brass if it's savable.
