colinskuse Posted December 11, 2006 Share Posted December 11, 2006 OK so I am looking at getting some new radio Mic's a total of 4 I have been looking at the akg wms 4000 with the c900 hand held and a belt pack as I like the facilitys that thay offer I was wondering if anyone has any experience on using them what are they like ?how do you find them on reliability?and so on... StevieR Posted December 11, 2006 Share Posted December 11, 2006 I have not had a lot of experience of the AKG systems but they are well made. The one thing you have to be aware of is the frequency range. None of the AKG systems operate within the deregulated band (863.000 to 865.000 MHz). As such, a license is always required with these for legal operation in the UK. If you need license free operation I would look to a Shure or Sennheiser system.
