alexadamson Posted November 21, 2006 Share Posted November 21, 2006 I was hoping to find out the size conversion for bolts and nuts that our quoted at size 'M??' into mm. I know that my impact wrench can take bolt sizes M5 to M16 but I want to know what size these bolts our in 'mm'. Hope somebody can help. roryfm Posted November 21, 2006 Share Posted November 21, 2006 The M# actually refers to the diameter of the shank of the bolt but a quick google of Metric bolt head throws up this As it shows there are a number of different standards to the Hex bolt head size but they are in fact quite similar. ror EDIT: damn beat me to it...
