timperrett
Apparently a Big Top 'took off' from Bultins in Minehead yesterday which had been installed for a Westlife concert. Does anyone have any info? Apparently it has made its home on the golf course next door! (Pics & Official info only please!)

TAFFY
Slightly off topic...The stage for the Children in need concert in Colwyn Bay's roof collapsed overnight, I missed it on TV last night so not sure if they rebuilt it in time. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/north_west/6154414.stm

Freddie
...so not sure if they rebuilt it in time... They did. Indeed, Chris Moyles (Who was compering there) made a joke of it, saying "The roof blew off last night, so we put it back on again"
lightsource
Slightly different picture here http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/low/uk_news/wales/...est/6156522.stm Can't get this link to work. It was found from a :D search of "colwyn bay roof collapse" (speech marks used in search) Moderation: Link fixed

johnb
They did. Indeed, Chris Moyles (Who was compering there) made a joke of it, saying "The roof blew off last night, so we put it back on again" Chris Moyles was compering at the Television Centre concert, but refering to the Colwyn Bay colapse. Going slightly OT.....Unfortunately the weather seems like it was very against CIN this year - the roof in Wales and in London it threw it down all day on Friday. There was a layer of water on the stage all afternoon and through the start of the gig. It finally stopped raining about 8pm - over an hour after it all started. Must sort out the photos I took of the gig - the stage was very neatly tucked under part of the building. Looked very impressive as such. paulears
I thought the horseshoe outside gig was interesting for another reason. It was cold, and piddling down. The dancers had steam coming out of their mouths as they breathed - oddly the girl band didn't seem to have anything at all coming out of theirs!
