I'm looking for something of around the 4u variety with space for an ATX motherboard, plenty of drive slots (need a 3.5" floppy drive, 5.25" DVD, and at least room for 4 HDD in one way or another). I've been searching for a little while and can't seem to quite find what I'm after... Many thanks in advance for your numerous helpful suggestions... :) Gareth. They are 3u, but still accept full height PCI cards, excellent build qulity and fantastic airflow. all our media PC's in our projection, lighting and sound systems re racked up in them - cant fault them Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But the problem Ive always had with the rackmount pc cases, is that its nearly impossible to fit them in a flight case.. there too long basically. so Ive always turned to ebay or custom built ones. The compucase ones are just a tadd to long for most of the standard depth cases from say terralec or other similar suppliers. Anyone found a good place for cases long enough to accommodate them? Avrio make some shallower PC Cases, (<300mm), but I can't see one that accomodates a standard (ATX) motherboard and standard expansion (PCI) cards.
