robert morley
So what is the fuse? is it a firework fuse? :)
wycome5
Basically it is the fuse that pokes out of the top of a commercial firework, I say basically because, as you will see there are many variations available. For look, you should use the 1/8th of an inch and for practicality, the 1/16th.
DC FX
Never heard of a Visco fuse, but it sounds like you are looking for what the industry calls a Matchead or Igniter. Le Maitre sell them in 10's or 100's at a cost of about 50p each. That is if your looking for what hangs out of most electrically ignited Fireworks or Pyrotechnics
mac.calder
No, Visco is for pyro that is ignited the good old fashion way. It comes in two main varieties - red and greet. Red burns at about 2.5s/inch, and green at about 1.7s/inch. Red is "American" and green is "Chinese". Dont know too much about it, just getting the stats from a catalogue. wycome5
Visco fuse can be cheaper and also gives a really good spark trail (especially if you want shells with a tail). It also burns faster.

Jivemaster
Visco (also PIC Blackmatch et al) is fuse for cat 4 firework fusing and construction. Your firework supplier will be able to supply, or should! You will of course have on file at your supplier's copies of your COER authority and MSER storage license, and insurance for storage and use of fireworks. Even assuming you can get visco you should read MSER carefully to determine the boundary between "manufacture" of a device - which needs a licensed factory, and "Fusing" firewirks - which doesn't
