Ellis
Hi, I have alighting project next year that requires very tight lighting (the spill from fresnels/PCs will be unacceptable) in a venue with next to no headroom. If I were to use profiles pointing down, they would protrude too far down and be very unsightly. Consequently I want to use profiles with beam diverters, but so far I have been unlble to fine someone to hire them to me. Due to the specialist nature of diverters, I expect to have to hire suitable lanterns to go with them. Can anyone suggest a supplier? Before you ask, the venue is the Norbury Theatre in Droitwich, Worcestershire. The play is Wuthering Heights and it is a compound set with the heath in the middle to the cyc, the Grange one side and the cottage to the other with scene changes by lighting alone (director's idea!). Fresnels always spill onto the cyc from wherever you hang them - will look awful during the Grange and cottage scenes. The theatres' stock of floods, pat 23s, 123s, 803s and 45s are almost definately going to be completely redundant for this one TIAEllis
James S
Hi, If I've understood what you want correctly: We stock the motorised Chroma Q mirrors which fit ETC source4 profiles (in the gel slot so can be used with Juniors or proffesionals) They are fully DMX controllable - X and Y axes but I suppose could equally be positioned and left. They are fairly light so would not cost a lot to courier to you unless you are close and are competitively priced for hire. PM or email me if interested. Bryson
Sounds a bit like overkill for what he needs. I think he wants something like the City Theatrical Beam Bender. But the real question is: who stocks them for hire? If you find out, let me know, as I could do with some for making Pacifics into proper shins. colourwatt
PRG Greenford have been known to own some beam diverters in the past, for a project or two.
