Delay wise its a couple of seconds if it hasn't been used for a while, otherwise it is instant if it has. The way we usually use it is by using the swop button to switch between whatever scene we are in to the strobe effect then back again. Our head of department likes putting slow Mo strobe scenes in thing than switching instantly back to what ever state we were in before hand. I can time it to press the grey flash key to warm it up sometime in advance before its needed but sometimes its not an easy option. I will have a play around later Tim. I did think if I set a level of 5% or something like that on its fader channel so its outputting but not enough to be seen it may fix the problem but like I said I will play.

We got one of these for school but are finding it has a delay for strobing when its not been used for a bit. Looks like it needs to "warm up" so to say. Im using a Pearl Expert Pro to control it. Does anyone know if there is a way to preheat it? so it strobes instantly? If not I may have to go down to route of looking for a newer LED one. Luke

Thanks :) I will give it a go. Like I don't really use it as I like to busk shows. Our kids never seem to hit the same spot for each show ** laughs out loud **. If it all goes pear shaped I can always ask at avo when I take the desk back.

Thanks for the replies - I am using Titan but its not version 11, yet! I have the upgrade kit to add soon. nic, yeah its was fade times and not delay I was using but I will follow your instructions and see what happens, will Q2 fade in at the same time as Q1` fades out?. The desk is going back for a service soon anyway so I guess if anything is not working properly it will be flagged up.

yeah I have set the fade in times and fade out times but the next Q fires once the previous Q has finished. So for example Cue 1 fades out over 5 seconds then Cue 2 fades in over 5 seconds. I was just wondering how to make the both go a the same time so they fade in and out at the same time.

Not really delved too deep in tot he cue lists on my pearl expert as I just normally tend to busk things or do individual states on faders and manually crossfade, but thought I would have a play around. Wondering how to make two cues fade between each other, ie cue 1 fades out and cue 2 fades in at the same time = Crossfade. Any quick tips?
