  1. Before considering taking kit from the UK to Ireland you would need to know the future trade relationship between the 2 countries post Brexit. There could be issues which might involve Carnets.
  2. The first point of contact should be to the installation company. Part of the £10k spend should have been the supplier assessing the level of competence of the users and installing kit appropriate to that level plus giving guidance and tuition. The church should not look to be spending more money if they have already paid for a package. A bit more information would help.
  3. The reason you hire kit is to find out how much you like it before buying. You are asking us to tell you what you prefer and we don't know that. Hire a few different systems and buy the one you prefer not what someone else prefers. It is best to do try things out and buy only once.

    Require heavy bass

No one can definitively answer this without more information although my instincts say use sub woofers [ note the plural]. If you can't get access to the speakers take photos so we can advise.
  5. You need to follow the advice of the radio mic manufacturer who will know how many frequencies and what they are that their product can successfully operate in any band. Find this information and follow it.
  6. If the company that sold the kit to you sent it out as working together and it doesn't then return it to them to be fixed or refunded by the next day. Never open new kit because it usually makes the guarantee invalid.
  7. I use an Artistic Licence MicroScope. The DMX network test is very useful to find which part of the system is faulty. It does need the parts of the system to be connected together with proper 5 pin XLR connectors so that you can test parts of the system and find the fault by a process of elimination.
  8. Hi Stuart,

    Who are 'We'?

    Thanks.
