Gerry Posted February 24, 2008 Share Posted February 24, 2008 You might find some old stage weights might be 12.73 Kg.That was 2 stones or 28 pounds or ¼ Cwt pre metrication.So 12.5 Kg is approx the same weight as they have always been. With one in each hand, you had to be careful not to swing your arms, or else you arrived a bit faster than you necessarily intended....a stageweight was 28lbs (or 12.5kgish as they are now).
