tivoliproduction
I'm looking to make myself a"proper" toolbox for use at work and on the larger jobs and have seen used loads of times before the upright flightcases with drawers in to store tools in appropriate places, anyone got any recommendations on where I can source the drawers from fairly cheaply? eBay didn't seem to be too useful, Adam hall didn't have too much either. I will probably get a new case from flightcase warehouse but didn't really want to spend £50 on each drawer!! any suggestions/ideas more than welcome!! paulears
Well, a 3U one from Canford are £80 PLUS VAT - so £50 isn't too bad. I guess you could bodge one with a blank rack panel front bolted to a suitable size plastic tray on b&q runners, but would it last?
tivoliproduction
thats the thing I need something that will last for more than 5 minutes. I tink I will go for the ebay ones for the expensive kit and then "bodge" the others from b&q. I just cannot understand why they are so expensive. seems a bit ridiculous to me!! peternewman
I got a 2U one fairly cheaply from Thomann for cutting up for a project (still haven't got round to doing it) but anyway I think it was about 20/30 quid, and then £10 shipping as standard. A nice selection here. HTH PN
