James C Posted August 4, 2003 Share Posted August 4, 2003 What with the current glorious weather, and another 3 weeks of summer projects still to go, we're wondering about hiring air conditioners/evaporative coolers. Most suppliers seem a little unsure about how to cope with a 7m high ceiling. It looks like air-con will be frighteningly expensive (and not sure if we can get around the masive power implications, either). Wondered about evaporative coolers, but someone has said that they're not recommended near electrical equipment (though, I assume that they're rarely used in rooms without any elctrical equipment!), as the water reservoirs obviously become moisture in the air.
