Altair 5126 EB200 Bluetooth Base Station - won't pair with anything

I've inherited an EB200 unit, but can't get it to pair with anything.  I've carefully followed the Unpair instructions in the manual, but no joy. When pressed, the Pair light just keeps blinking steadily.

Any thoughts, please? Altair aren't replying.  Is special software required to investigate?  The manual mentions linking to a PC through the USB connector.

Any help appreciated.

I've now heard from Altair, who simply say the unit is obsolete and the driver is not available.

Is there anyone out there with an EB200 who is able to access it on a PC or other machine?  If so, would you be prepared to share the software/driver, please?
