This is put together to help those with the Look Solutions Unique Hazers 2 and 2.1 series.

I will make this brief and to the point. If done correctly, and not short cut, works 100% of the time! I’ve brought every clogged heat exchanger back to life!

CLOGGED/OR SPITTING HEAT EXCHANGER:

Remove heat exchanger from unit. Boil in pot; 50% distilled water/50% distilled white vinegar. Place heat exchanger with output end facing up. (BE SURE END IS COVERED OVER BY WATER/VINEGAR SOLUTION). Cover with lid. Once solution comes to a boil, let it continue for 10-15 minutes. Have an air compressor with a blowing tip ready. Have a couple of towels to blow the heat exchanger into (very messy). IMPORTANT (BLOW FROM THE OUTPUT END OF THE HEAT EXCHANGER)with the air compressor. You will see a black soot come out of the end. Repeat this process, until no black soot is coming out and air passes through the heat exchanger.

(STILL) SPITTING HEAT EXCHANGER (AFTER CLEANING):

Pull air pump and disassemble. Remove actuator and both bellows. Clean thoroughly, all rubber surfaces, membrane, bellows and o rings with isopropyl alcohol. Within the bellows plungers is a flap that opens when the bellows is pulling in air and closes when the bellows pumps air. Make sure you clean under those flaps! Before re assembly of the parts, use a thin layer of non-corrosive grease ( I recommend SUPER LUBE) to put around flaps,  o rings and membrane where rubber parts make contact with each other. (DO NOT GOOP ON! USE VERY LIGHT, THIN APPLICATIONS OF GREASE) so parts do not stick together, but will properly seal when needed and will not stick close. Test pump to make sure you have a good flow of air.

AS ALWAYS, CHECK TO MAKE SURE HOSES ARE UN-OBSTRUCTED AND ARE PASSING AIR/FLUID CORRECTLY.
