Is there a compact, as in 2 mic inputs 2 line outputs interface version of a DX168 for use with a Allen & Heath SQ-6 ? seems an waste to use a DX168 for a lecturn mic and a foldback speaker ?

It would be nice to get a digital DI box to do the job ?

Unless you've got a Dante card for it, the smallest box is the half rack space DX88-P which is 8in/8out but on phoenix connectors. If you've got a Dante card then there's no end of options but none with convenient preamp control on the mixer. If you can "put up with" 48KHz there is always the AR84 which is smaller cheaper but still bigger than you're looking for.

If you've bothered to look at A&H's product list, you'll know that the answer is no - and there'd be no viable market for it.

As Richard says, if you are Dante equipped, then the options open up.

But why wouldn't you simply rung a pair of XLRs?  Or, if desperate to use only one cable, or to use existing structured cabling, use 1 CatX cable to run both signals analog, and you still have two more lines spare.
