Le Maitre MVS DMX address

I have two MVS on hire that steadfastly refuse to remember their DMX address after being power cycled. They both revert back to some previously stored address, so I don't think they're losing the value - it's like it's just not being stored persistently. I've tried holding store, holding store and DMX together and all permutations I can think of, but I must be missing something simple.

Any pointers most welcome! Thank you.

Making the changes in Manual mode, then pressing Store+Manual?

 

Page 6 of the manual suggests that's the procedure.

That machine has to take the prize for having the most unintuitive user interface on any DMX device ever.

Although Ayrton fixtures have a pretty weird menu system too.

I swear when I read the manual "Store + DMX" was the combination suggested, but yes - on a second check, "Store + Manual", which I have to say makes much less sense, was the missing link. All sorted now.

Love the haze they make and how little fluid they use, but the interface is ridiculously finicky!
