underbellyltd Posted September 8, 2022 Share Posted September 8, 2022 We are looking for a talented venue stage manager to work on our shows in our Spiegeltent venue at Christmas in Leicester Square 2022. Job Purpose You’ll be working with a company stage manager, sound technician and lighting technician to deliver the technical requirements of our self-produced cabaret show as well as working on shows from visiting companies. Duties include handling technical rehearsals, keeping the venue running to time, working on turnarounds with companies to ensure everything runs smoothly, and keeping the venue in good and tidy order. Previous experience in other festival venue roles is a great advantage. Given that the role is part of a close-knit venue team working hard through the festival we are looking for positive and friendly candidates who will support the others and get involved in whatever tasks will help everyone else out. The work is not limited to just stage management, since the whole crew operates as a team. Terms Dates of work are approximately 31st July - 30th August 2022. Rate of pay is £625.00/week based on a 6 day week, via PAYE. You will get one day off per week but should be available to work for the entire period.
