Oxford CAV Limited is an audio visual hire company.  Providing equipment and techncial support to live events and dray hires within Oxfordshire.  We belive in the continuing development of our staff.  In addition to the mandatory training required by the company, we welcome applicanttions for training from our employees to further their career development within the business.

We are looking for a self motivated individual with a keen interest in teh audio visual industry.  Experience of working in the industry preferred but not essential as training will be provided.  The role will include, but not limited to, driving and setting up audio visual equipment for  live events. There will also be the opportunity to provide technical support at events dependant on experience.

Salary: £20,000 - £24,000 p.a. - depending on experience

Working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm, with the potential to work additional hours at busy times.

28 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays) plus 1 additional day annual leave in recognition of your birthday.

To deliver and set-up audio visual equipment for events

To provide technical support for events - dependant on experience

Responsibilities

Deliveries and collections

Set-up and de-rig audio visual equipment

System trouble shooting

To provide excellent customer service

The successful candidate MUST:

Hold a full UK driving licence

Be self motivated

Be able to work as part of a team

Able to deliver a professional, highly dependable, customer facing service

Have strong verbal communication skills

Be able to work in a busy, pressured environment whilst organising and prioritising your own work within a time frame

Have a solid understanding of audio visual systems

Have good IT skills with an understanding of Windows operating systems

Preferred but not essential:

Have experience working with audio visual systems at live events

Be able to use Power Point

Have experience of using MAC operating systems
