underbellyltd Posted June 17, 2022 Share Posted June 17, 2022 Draughtsperson Underbelly are looking for a draughtsperson to join our expanding production team. Reporting to the Production Director, and working across various departments, the draughtsperson will be responsible for providing technical drawing support for our festivals and events. Job Purpose • Drawing management for all of Underbelly’s CAD drawing requirements • Drawing site plans and elevations for build teams, planning and licensing applications • Drawing construction and fabrication plans for carpenters and other build crew • Working on in-house productions and working with visiting companies to ensure successful installation of third-party infrastructure • Version control of all drawings • Developing libraries for future use • Participate in the provision of a safe working environment Person Specification Essential • Excellent 2D and 3D AutoCAD knowledge • Good computer literacy including Microsoft Office • Attention to detail • Good time management and ability to work to deadlines • Good communicator Desirable • Knowledge of Adobe suite, in particular Photoshop • Background in theatre or events • Experience and understanding of the use of technical drawing in theatre Terms Salary: £28-33,000 depending on experience Closing date: Monday 4th July 10am Underbelly is committed to reducing its environmental impacts in its everyday operations.
