underbellyltd Posted May 27, 2022 Share Posted May 27, 2022 Underbelly are looking for warehouse operatives to help with our busy festival season in our Edinburgh warehouse. Job Purpose This role covers the preparation, delivery and storage of all equipment required for our event sites including quality control in the warehouse, deliveries to and from the warehouse and the organisation of the storage space. Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Warehouse Manager for in-house duties which may include: Working in the yard / Warehouse. Forklift Operation Assist in the loading/unloading of vehicles. Organisation and tidiness within the yard. Picking Stock / Equipment for our Event sites Delivering stock in a company van. Working in the workshop. General maintenance of Company stock. Ensure all daily checks are completed. Adhering to all Health & Safety Regulations Skills and Experience Good Time management skills Excellent communication skills Pro-active with a high level of accuracy and detail Able to work under pressure and within tight timescales Licence/Certification: Counterbalance Forklift Certificate Full, clean UK Driving Licence. Additional Comments Overtime and weekend work may be required during busy periods. Occasional requirement to travel. Own transport is essential due to locations. Warehouse Operative experience preferred Terms Temporary, June – Mid September 2022. Based in South Queensferry, Edinburgh Salary: £10.00ph. 8-10 hour days, with 45 minute paid lunch break 3-6 Days per week. Overtime will pe paid at standard hourly rate.
