Stage Manager Required

Stageworks Worldwide Productions are looking for an experienced Stage Manager to join the team for our 2022 production Hot Ice Rapture at the Pleasure Beach Arena.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage the Technical Team and backstage area during rehearsals and performances.
  • To ensure all tasks are carried out in a safe manner and that all H&S procedures are adhered to.
  • To provide show calls to Cast and Crew.
  • To ensure show pre-sets are completed for each performance.
  • To ensure Props, Scenery, Lighting and Sound equipment are maintained.
  • To operate Performer Flying, Pyrotechnic and Fire Effect systems.
  • To complete a show report after each performance.
  • To carry out weekly rigging checks.

Skills:

  • Exceptional time keeping and time management abilities.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • The ability to multi-task as well as carry out specific tasks with due diligence.
  • Proven ability at problem-solving and making decisions under pressure.
  • Familiar with using power and hand tools in order to fix Props and Scenery.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a Stage Management roll.
  • Experience in managing and motivating a team.
  • Awareness of Risk Assessments and the importance of Health and Safety in the work place.
  • Previous experience and knowledge in Rigging and Performer Flying.

Training:

  • IPAF licence desired but not essential
  • Working at Heights

Other Information:

Contract Dates: Working 6 Days per week from the 6th June to the 16th September 2022.

Salary: £450 - £600 per week Salary dependent on experience.  (Weekly Salary, paid on a monthly basis)
