A real opportunity for personal and technical development - our Technicians are responsible for ensuring the entire operation runs as smoothly as possible during our award-winning entertainment on board our worldwide fleet of British Cruise Ships. We are currently recruiting for experienced Lighting Technicians who possess both the knowledge and drive to develop their careers within an award-winning company. Working with PEEL Talent you will: Work with or Grand MA2 or Grand MA 3 lighting desks, so previous experience in these is essential. Enjoy a varied role as you operate lighting for the most diverse entertainment product at sea with over 9 different full production shows. Take responsibility for the maintenance of lighting fixtures on-board the vessel and working with the technical team on maintaining the entertainment technical product You will carry out any general technical assistance, working closely with and learning from the Senior Technician. Quality control is essential when working with PEEL – you’ll also work with the Senior Technician on all technical matters regarding lighting in entertainment areas onboard. You’ll also work with a wide number of guest entertainers and groups, where you’ll have the opportunity to find out their lighting requirements for upcoming shows and activities. Assist with any technical or staging requirements for daytime activities and stage set ups/pack downs, working closely with other technicians to build a rapport within the technical team. Technicians are expected to work seamlessly as a team in order to upkeep our exceptionally high standards, with a keen eye for detail and an aptitude for all things technical. Pay Rate:  between £400 and £450 per week, note accommodation and meals included.
