Phantom of the Opera Boat!?

Just jumping on here to see if anyone has ever done Phantom of the Opera and used an Automated boat or Remote Controlled Platform System. Looking into ways of doing it and thought to ask if anyone has had any experience in this type thing.

It could also of course be any type of remote controlled truck experience doesn't have to be the Boat!!

Cheers.

Last time we did it, they had a mobility scooter chassis with the handle bars chopped off and shortened so they were only a couple if inches high. This kept them well and truly out of sight within the hull of the gondola, which was built around it. Christine steered it. Seemed to work really well.
