Or two twisted pairs + screen for DMX, or something altogether different??
TomLyall Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 The cable slim is talking about is this: http://www.vdctrading.com/products.asp?Sub...=1&ProductID=18 The cable he's wanting has 5 coax cores, and is used (generally) for high quality video links for projectors or plasmas. VDC also do a black video multicore: http://www.vdctrading.com/products.asp?SubSectionID=3#p36 Is the cable for install or stage use? The smaller red series VD cable you discribe is install grade, and not really up to stage use. The larger multicore is really nice to coil and isn't even that heavy (its coax...). Is the red jacket a problem? Have you tried looking at Klotz, Adam Hall, (the rest of) VDC?
Andrew C Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 Doh! If I'd noticed which forum it was in, I might have guessed. However, I was looking at "New Posts". Sorry & all that, back in my box...

Klotz do a RGBHV multicore, http://www.klotz-ais.com/lshop,showdetail,,e,,,vmm,,,.htm It's not as large as the Van Damme stuff, and it is black, would that be any good?

Can you give me the price, I have signed up, but I have to fax back forms and stand on one leg in a bucket of warm water for three days... Cheers slim...
TomLyall Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 The catalogue list price for that Klotz cable is 5.20 euros per meter.
