Dweeks Posted June 18, 2005 Share Posted June 18, 2005 Anyone here see/work with Mark Knopfler at his Albert Hall stint? Absolutley fantastic show technically, something like 4 banks of 20 Mac 500's (I was miles away at the back, but looked like them, Hog desk I believe). Really well run show, only criticism is that the sound was appalling at the back. Still, cheaper tickets so meh... Mark himself was excellent, despite suffering laryngitis for the week apparently. Great to hear Sultans of Swing live! Actually having said that, that show really put me off intelligents, having 40 odd macs strobing in your eyes really irritates you after a while. Far prefered the use of the Parcans in the concert! Also, before the band entered the stage was illuminated by "UV" colour from these intelligents... horrible.
