Warehouse Manager

 

APA Live is looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our small but growing production company based in Hemel Hempstead. We're an enthusiastic team of creative designers, set builders, sound techs, lighting techs, video techs and drivers, working with a range of clients from creative agencies and events organisers to fashion brands and music producers.

 

This is an exciting and key role that plays a big part in the operation of the company. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of audio, visual, sound and lighting equipment. Previous warehouse management experience would be an advantage but not necessary. Full training on company systems will be given.

 

Duties include:

 

• Liaising with project managers to understand specific job prep requirements
• Prepping of equipment ahead of jobs
• Manage dry hire bookings and handling dry hire clients
• De-prepping of equipment when it returns to the warehouse
• Logging all equipment that needs maintenance
• Conducting equipment maintenance to ensure all equipment is in working order
• Loading and unloading vans and trucks
• Driving vans to and from jobs
• Making sure the warehouse is tidy and equipment is stored safely
• Develop and implement storage solutions within the warehouse
• Develop and enforce prep & de-prep procedures
• Maintain stock levels for consumable items
• Have an active role in the progression of the company with regards to improving procedures and cost effectiveness within the warehouse

Salary of £24,000 based on 5 days a week Mon-Fri. Evening and weekend work is required.
