Audio Visual Specialist

North Star Engineers are currently seeking a full time Audio Visual Specialist to be based in our York office. The successful candidate will be required to travel extensively as well as being involved in office-based planning activities.

 

Candidates must have a good understanding of lighting and sound technology.

 

 

Essential Skills

• Experience in the installation and operation of sound and lighting technologies
• Independent, hardworking and well presented
• An interest in new technologies
• Knowledge of MS Office software packages including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Passport
• Driving License
• Ability to work evenings and weekends and to be away from home for periods of time

Desirable Skills

• Lighting Design experience
• Ability to program and operate a range of lighting consoles
• Project Management
• Maintenance of LED and Automated lighting fixtures
• Video Installation & Maintenance
