Lighting Engineer / AV Technician

North Star Engineers are currently seeking a fulltime Lighting Engineer to be based in our York office. The successful candidatewill be required to travel extensively as well as being involved inoffice-based planning activities.

 

Essential Skills

 

· Lighting design

 

· Ability to program and operate a range of lighting consoles frommanufacturers including;

 

§ High End Hog

 

§ MA Lighting

 

§ ETC

 

§ Avolites

 

§ Chamsys

 

· Project Management

 

· Installation of entertainment lighting technology

 

· Maintenance of traditional, LED and automated lighting fixtures

 

· Excellent spoken and written English

 

· Full UK Driving License

 

Desired Skills

 

· Audio installation & maintenance

 

· Knowledge of MS Office software packages including Word, Excel,PowerPoint

 

· Video installation & maintenance

 

· Project Management
