delicolor Posted March 30, 2019 Share Posted March 30, 2019 Late to this thread. I cut my teeth in the mid 1970s at a concert hall that used to get the big names, including Queen in 1975! It is all a tad blurry now but most lighting desks that were brought in were in the style of Rockboard, with 2 or 3 presets and a pin patch matrix for multiple subs. On the sound side of things the Crown DC300As were nearly ubiquitous. For follow-spots they were mostly Strand Patt 765 CSI (to supplement our pair) but a couple of times we saw Theatre Projects CSIs (which were based on a 765 but with a narrower angle lens) and once even a pair of Silhouette CSIs. We had one memory desk in the city, a Strand MMS, but you wouldn't want to tour one of them. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
